The German type rating training organisation (TRTO) Cockpit4u aviation service GmbH, based at the expanding capital airport BER, is officially approved as a training carrier according to the law of the regulation and promotion of advanced education in the Federal State of Brandenburg (BbgWBG §§14-20).

The claiming of educational exemption eases working adults to participate in approved seminars in their scarce spare time and supports so the idea of "lifelong learning" pursued throughout Europe.

This allows interested pilots to attend on one of the train-the-trainer courses at Cockpit4u during working hours. Meanwhile, the salary is paid on.

In accordance with the JAR-requirements, Cockpit4u offers an individual and practical-oriented qualification as Type Rating Instructor (TRI). In addition to other professional topics, subjects concerning knowledge transfer - teaching, personality, communication, feedback and evaluation - are outlined.

As a first officer you can also be trained as an instructor at Cockpit4u. According to the legal regulations; you receive the qualification to work as a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI). The correspondent course program is based on the training as a TRI and enables you to immerse into the world of teaching.

Who toys with the idea to pass on the knowledge and experience as a captain to other pilots should not hesitate too long and take advantage of this opportunity. In particular, this field of pilot training is subjected to serious changes with the upcoming implementation of the new

EASA part FCL regulations in April 2012, which brings an increase of time effort and expenses.

Further information is available at the website of the Brandenburg Ministry of education, youth and sports (MBJS) or directly at Cockpit4u.
