ICAO Language Proficiency check

Requirements of the ICAO Language Proficiency check: Do you speak English?
In addition to the ability to handle the technical and procedural demands during flight, the pilot also must be able to adequately communicate in the English language. Since March 5th 2008 all pilots are required to prove their sufficient radio transmit phraseology knowledge in English regardless of their nationality.
Cockpit4u offers national and international pilots as well as type rating students the possibility to support them during the initial and subsequent language checks. According to the ICAO directives a language competency must be proved by at least 4 levels. The ability to communicate is the main focus during the check. Beside listening-understanding ability, other criteria like articulation, structure, lexis, language skills, understanding and behavior are also assessed.
The success of the examination will be confirmed by a "Language Proficiency Check" certificate.
